Importance of Soil Testing

One of the first things that I'm going to recommend to you if you have a troubled lawn is for you to have a soil and water test. Many times our soil takes on the characteristics of the water that we're putting on the soil.

Many companies will talk about the importance of having good pH. pH stands for the potential of hydrogen. If the pH of your water is high, the pH of your soil will also be high.

Knowing these two things will help us to determine how to effectively amend the soil, so that you can gain the turf health that you need.

Depending on the pH of your soil, we can put down products which cause the pH to be less alkaline or acidic. When you have a normal pH level, the soil will take in the nutrients from the fertilizer better resulting in a healthier lawn.
